SUMMARY:The Odyssey Recited by Jay Leeming
DESCRIPTION:Join Jay Leeming for an evening of epic storytelling as he performs excerpts from Homer’s Odyssey. This may be as close as we’re going to get to experiencing The Odyssey how its original audiences did\, and it’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss! \nLeeming is a performance storyteller adept at bringing ancient myths and stories alive through the power of the spoken word. A regular performer in theaters\, schools\, libraries and National Parks\, he is the creator of the Crane Bag Storytelling Podcast\, the author of three books of poetry and the recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the arts. \nThis event is free and open to all.
